Raquel is currently the Operations Director at ¡HICA!  (Hispanic Interest Coalition of Alabama), a community development and advocacy organization that champions economic equality, civic engagement, and social justice for Latino and immigrant families in Alabama She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Business Administration. She also brings 20 years of combined corporate and organizational management and technological experience. She is a native of Texas but calls Alabama home along with her husband and dog. Raquel likes playing in rivers, practicing yoga, reading, photography, hiking and camping.
