Bram Odrezin - Cahaba River Society

Abraham D. Odrezin is Senior Landscape Architect / RLA, ASLA, CLARB and Founder of AO Studio, LLC. Growing up in Savannah, Georgia, ‘Bram’ found a strong connection between the well-planned built environment of historic Savannah and the natural surroundings unique to coastal Georgia – the low country marshes and pine/live oak woods. Passionate about resilient natural systems and how they can influence good design, Bram graduated the University of Georgia’s College of Environment and Design with a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture in 2007, came to Birmingham and cofounded an award-winning firm, Lorberbaum Odrezin Associates. Now with AO Studio, he collaborates with like-minded designers who want to create places that provide unique experiences intended to enhance and reinforce the visitor’s sense of place. Abraham brings knowledge of green infrastructure design and skills in photography and art to CRS.

He has worked on a variety of planning and design projects, from land planning of multi-acre mixed use neighborhoods to small native plant and bird habitat learning gardens for local school children. It is not the size of a place or site but rather the experiences created and impacts on imaginations that make a place great. As the father of two young children, he cares about providing places that spark understanding of their fragility and instill values of conservation.
