Cahaba By Moonlight

On Thursday September 25, 2008  beginning at 6 pm, enjoy cocktails, smooth jazz and an elegant dinner at the Carraway-Davie House and Conference Center, with both silent and live auctions to benefit the Cahaba River Society’s work to protect the region’s drinking water and the health of the Cahaba River. This special event is open to the public. General Admission is $100 per person, Reserved Seating is $1,000 for a table for 8, and Event Sponsorships are $1,500. The Cahaba Lily Festival

What is the Cahaba Lily Festival?

The Cahaba Lily Festival is held each year in West Blocton, Alabama. (Click here for a map and directions to the Festival.) The festival is scheduled for the last Saturday in May. Cahaba River Ramble

What: A spectacular 5k and ~10 mile trail race through the "biological heart" of the Cahaba while the treasured Cahaba Lilies are in full bloom
Why: to benefit the CLEAN Environmental Education Program of the Cahaba River Society
When: Saturday, May 17, 2008. Race begins at 8 am.
Where: Cahaba River National Wildlife Refuge, near the historic town of West Blocton
Who: Experienced trail runners will enjoy a very challenging ~10 mile course, while newcomers can get their feet wet by opting for the short and flat 5K course. Complete course descriptions and pictures available at: 5k course and ~10 mile course
