The first photo was made in March of 2003 from a tributary that drains from the Bent River Estates.  The other photos were taken in December of 2002.  The mud line from these sedimentation events extended downstream for hundreds of yards, eventually mixing with the river.  The clarity of the Cahaba River upstream from this location was significantly diminished by these sediment loading events.
